ETL Informatica Developer
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented ETL Informatica Developer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and IICS, with a strong understanding of data warehouse concepts, SQL, and Unix-based scheduling. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions in dynamic environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple sources (Oracle, Salesforce, flat files, etc.) into Data Warehouse/Redshift environments.
- Create and optimize ETL mappings, workflows, and sessions to meet business requirements.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve ETL job failures, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and integrity.
- Implement process improvements by analyzing bottlenecks and enhancing ETL workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, improve processes, and ensure timely data availability.
- Conduct data validation, testing, and root cause analysis to resolve data quality issues.
- Work in pharmaceutical and domain-specific environments to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
- Solid understanding of ETL concepts and data warehouse architecture.
- Proficiency in SQL for writing and optimizing complex queries.
- Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux commands
- Experience with cloud-based data solutions such as AWS Redshift.
- Ability to analyze and resolve data-related issues quickly.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- 24 years of professional experience as an ETL Developer.
- Experience working with pharmaceutical or similar domain business logic.
- Demonstrated adaptability and eagerness to learn new tools and technologies.
