ETL Developer( IBM DataStage)

A candidate, with 8-10 years of experience applying process, problem-solving and technical skills to improve system performance, design and architecture. Has depth experience and knowledge in different phases of Software Development Life Cycle like Requirement Analysis, Planning, Design, Development, Test Execution, Defect Management, Deployment and Maintenance, as well as proficient in documentation.

Job Description (JD)

ؠProviding technical expertise to support and maintain continuity of the supported application systems

ؠIdentifies and recommends software and applications that will improve the stability of supported application systems

ؠTo implement the best practices and coding standards of the task or project

ؠProviding technical solutions for complex IT requirements and create conceptual architecture diagram and process flow

ؠTo manage and support regulatory reporting operations to ensure submission done within timeline and expected quality

ؠTo manage ACR for system enhancement (source systems/data enrichment, report automation, more controls), change request and issues fixing within stipulated timeline and quality

ؠPlay active role in project implementation mainly in data integration and data accuracy.

ؠInvolve in project management: Manage project timeline, communications, issues and risks

ؠTo abide by all the project and company guidelines and standards and to ensure that even the team members are doing so

ؠTo establish strong working relationships with business users, peers, contract staff and IT vendors

Key Skills / Knowledge and Behaviors (if applicable)

ؠBachelor Degree in Information Technology (IT) / Computer Science / Related IT fields

ؠMore than 6 years of working experience in IT especially on banking and data management area

ؠ8 years in experience with IBM Datastage ETL Tool and relational databases

ؠOther ETL tool experience an added advantage

ؠSound knowledge and experience in application development and implementation in different phases of Software Development Life Cycle.

ؠGood communications and collaboration skills with all the respective stakeholders
