Are you an agile Data Engineer or ETL Developer with a solid footprint in the banking/financial services sector We are seeking a precision-focused ETL & Regulatory Reporting Developer for an immediate, high-impact contract deployment in Kuala Lumpur!

This role is centered on building robust data pipelines using Talend to orchestrate financial compliance data into an Enterprise Big Data Analytics (BDA) Hub.

Requirement Note: This position is strictly open to Local Malaysian citizens only. ️ Contract Duration: Fixed-term alignment until 3rd December 2026.

Role Overview:

• Position: ETL & Regulatory Reporting Developer (Data Engineering)
• Experience Baseline: 3–5 Years of relevant data platform experience
• Domain Anchor: Financial Services & Regulatory Compliance Reporting
• Core Toolkit: Talend, Big Data Analytics (BDA) Hub, SQL, Schema Design
• Source Systems: Mobius Data Environments
• Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

️ Your Core Technical Execution:

• Pipeline Engineering: Design, build, and deploy automated ETL data pipelines using Talend to ingest Mobius operational data seamlessly into the BDA Enterprise Data Hub.
• Data Warehousing & Schema Design: Architect and provision optimized Target Tables designed to store, index, and organize incoming datasets with high transactional integrity.
• Regulatory Reporting Output: Extract, structure, and generate high-fidelity Output Files and financial compliance reports explicitly mapped to statutory regulatory requirements.
• Testing Lifecycle Validation: Act as the core technical anchor during System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles, rapidly debugging ETL workflows and output validation discrepancies.
• Big Data Engineering Collaboration: Engage directly in day-to-day data engineering activities, performance tuning, and schema optimization within the wider enterprise Hadoop/Big Data architecture.

What You Bring to the Table:

• The Financial Foundation: 3 to 5 years of solid data track record specifically supporting financial institutions, retail banking, or insurance data frameworks.
• The Regulatory Mindset: Prior background navigating the strict deadlines, file format specifications, and data accuracy standards required for regulatory submissions.
• Talend Competency: Practical experience writing jobs, mapping expressions, and managing orchestration contexts within Talend.
• Immediate Availability: Readiness to hit the ground running on an active delivery cycle winding up in December 2026.
