Role Description The Event Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing events from concept to completion, including timelines, budgets, and logistics. The Event Executive will liaise with clients to understand requirements, prepare proposals, and provide regular updates on event progress. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with vendors and suppliers, managing event registrations and guest communications, and overseeing on-site setup and teardown. The role also includes supporting marketing activities for events, preparing post-event reports, and identifying opportunities to improve future event experiences.

Qualifications

  • Strong event planning and coordination skills, including experience managing timelines, budgets, and logistics.
  • Excellent client service skills, with the ability to understand requirements, manage expectations, and build long-term relationships.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in working with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Solid organizational and time management abilities, including handling multiple events or tasks simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management or registration tools is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site during event days, including evenings, weekends, or public holidays when required.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset and attention to detail, with the capacity to adapt quickly to changes during events.
  • Diploma or degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience will also be considered.
