Role Description The Event & Operations Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in WP, Kuala Lumpur. This role is responsible for planning and executing Huggypal events, pop-ups, and activations, including coordinating logistics, setting up event spaces, managing inventory, and ensuring a smooth experience for visitors. The position involves working closely with partners and vendors, handling day-to-day operations such as order processing, stock tracking, and basic administrative tasks, and supporting customer engagement at events and in-store. The Event & Operations Executive will also assist in creating simple event materials, collecting feedback, and reporting on event performance to help improve future initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Open to learn event coordination or operations, including planning, logistics, and on-site execution.
  • Must have very strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Comfortable with customer-facing work, including basic sales, product explanation, and service at events or retail settings.
  • Ability to work on-site in WP, Kuala Lumpur, including occasional evenings or weekends based on event schedules, replaceable with weekdays off.
  • Proficiency with AI and open to learn AI tools and willingness to learn new systems.
  • Good communication skills in English; additional local language proficiency is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated interest in mental health, wellness, or consumer products, especially in a start-up or growth-focused environment.
  • Must own a car and can drive.
