Join the NICE 2026 Project Team!
MRANTI is seeking four (4) dynamic and experienced professionals to join our Strategic Communication Division on a Contract-for-Service basis. You will be instrumental in executing the National Innovation and Commercialisation Expo 2026 (NICE 2026), a flagship initiative by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI). This is your chance to contribute to a high-impact, global-level event designed to propel Malaysia to the forefront of innovation.
The following role will be on Contract-For-Service basis, immediate commencement until 31st October 2026:
- Event Operation Lead: Oversee end-to-end planning, logistics, venue readiness, and on-ground delivery for the entire event.
- Conference Lead: Lead the planning and delivery of all conference sessions, including speaker management, programme scheduling, and content readiness.
- Exhibition Lead: Manage the exhibition component, including floor planning, coordination with an estimated 180 exhibitors, and hall operations.
- Digital Channel Coordinator: Develop and maintain the NICE 2026 digital ecosystem, execute social media engagement strategies, and drive digital traffic for registrations.
Core Responsibilities for All Roles:
- Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as a primary focal point for MOSTI, partners, sponsors, and vendors to ensure alignment across all workstreams.
- Project Management: Develop and manage timelines, workplans, and action trackers to ensure all deliverables stay on track.
- On-Ground Execution: Oversee daily event operations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a seamless experience for over 8,000 expected participants.
- Documentation: Prepare progress updates, meeting minutes, post-event evaluations, and comprehensive outcome reports.
Key Requirements:
- Diploma, Degree, or Master's in Mass Communication, Business Administration, Marketing, Event Management, or related fields.
- Minimum 5+ years experience (for Lead roles) in managing large-scale international conferences, national expos, or equivalent high-impact events.
- Minimum 3+ years experience (for Digital Channel Coordinator) with proven expertise in WordPress website management, SEO, digital campaigns, and social media strategy execution.
- Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across government agencies, sponsors, partners, and vendors.
- Demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, with strong problem-solving skills and adaptability during live event execution.
- Exceptionally detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to accuracy, quality control, and operational excellence across multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Highly organised with strong project management capabilities, including the ability to manage timelines, priorities, and deliverables effectively.
