Job Purpose
To secure general Takaful business for the state according to specific targets set by the company. Servicing and develop agents, public sectors or government agencies, corporate organization and financial institutions that transact general Takaful business. Recruit quality general agents of both motor and non-motor to ensure meeting the specific target of general Takaful business production of the state.
Job Responsibilities
- To fulfill the Annual Budget set by the company via recruitment of agents and servicing of existing agents.
- Reporting on periodical basis on production status.
- Monitoring of collection control on agents.
- Participate in agent's sales activities.
- Recruitment of agents as specified in annual budget targets according to guidelines, SOP and other company policies.
- Servicing customers, agents, franchise, public sectors or government agencies, corporate organizations and financial institutions within specific portfolio or as instructed by company.
- Conduct trainings on product knowledge, motivation, and development of agency force.
- Conduct market survey, research, and development of business.
- Oversee, co-ordinate and communicate on effective introduction and launching of general takaful products, marketing activities, meetings, promotions, and sales campaigns.
- Make recommendations, provide feedback and report on updates and performance of general takaful business of the market.
- Respond promptly to all agents and customers complaints, queries, needs and requirements.
- Adopt best practices in performing job functions while always ensuring compliance with rules and regulations.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Insurance, Business Studies, Risk Management, and any related field
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in insurance/takaful industry
- Strong knowledge in insurance and takaful businesses
- Good communication and presentation skill
- Experience in agency management is a plus
- Good knowledge in insurance/takaful regulations, guidelines, and principles
