Department Objective

Overall stock count and PPE verification is performed and in compliance with internal control policies; timely financial reporting.

Role Objective

To safeguard company assets by monitoring, recording, and controlling the use, movement, and disposal of fixed assets and inventory.

Job Description

1.Daily Stock Count exercise - ALL branches

  • Ensure performance of daily cycle count by ALL branches as per stocktake calendar.
  • Ensure stock take guideline is adhered to for completeness and accuracy.
  • Stock take reconciliation are done accurately (only valid documents are accepted for reconciling).
  • Ensure approvals and documentation are in place for stock write off, damage and conversion.

2.Fixed Asset management

  • Maintain and update the fixed asset register (acquisitions, transfers, disposals, depreciation).
  • Track asset movement between locations, departments, and users
  • Monitor asset usage and identify idle, damaged, or obsolete assets.
  • Ensure approvals and documentation are in place for asset purchases, transfers, and write-offs.

3.Reporting

  • Preparation of supporting schedules (PPE and inventory reports) for month end closing.
  • Assist in cost allocation for Branch P&L.
  • Assist in preparation of yearly audit and tax.

4.Any other ad hoc assignment

Job Requirement

  • Minimum 2 - 3 years of relevant experiences.
  • Certificate / Diploma in Accounting or equivalent qualifications.
  • Responsible, positive attitude, mature and able to work independently.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Dedicate and committed to meet deadlines.
  • Computer literate in Ms Office Word and Excel.
