Job Purpose:
To drive strategy business development and pursue new business opportunities, drive revenue growth, build strong relationships with clients and meet the department's overall business returns.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and Prospect: Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends. Actively seek new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
- Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their needs, preferences, and pain points to offer solutions that align with company services.
- Sales and Revenue Generation: Generate leads, qualify prospects, and manage the entire sales cycle to achieve revenue targets. Defining commercial strategy on Price and Margin - leverage ROI evaluation.
- Proposal Preparation: Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations. To coordinate, prepare and compile bid submission documents in relation to
- tendering/bidding activities, tender questionnaires, and pre-qualifications.
- Negotiation and Closing: Leading negotiation with customers in order to ensure full compliance with contract commitments and commercial risk assessment. Close deals and achieve sales goals within defined timelines.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback. Utilize this information to provide valuable insights for services and business strategies.
- Reporting and Analytics: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and business opportunities. Provide regular reports to management, highlighting progress, challenges, and prospects.
Requirement:
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma /Degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent
- At least 5 years of working experience in Business Development.
- Proactive, self-motivated and result oriented with good communication and
- interpersonal skills.
- Experience in Plant Maintenance /Turnaround/Shutdown / Onshore facilities experience will be an added advantage.
- Familiar with Smart GEP System will be an added advantage
