The Executive Assistant Manager (EAM) supports the General Manager in the overall management and performance of the hotel, ensuring operational excellence, guest satisfaction, financial performance and talent development across all departments. The role requires a highly experienced hotelier with strong operational expertise in both Rooms Division and Food & Beverage, exceptional leadership capabilities and a hands-on approach to driving service excellence, operational efficiency and business results.
The EAM serves as a key member of the Executive Committee and acts on behalf of the General Manager in their absence, ensuring seamless hotel operations while maintaining the highest standards expected of a luxury five-star hotel.
Key Responsibilitie
- Assist the General Manager in the overall leadership, management and performance of the hotel, ensuring operational excellence and achievement of business objectives
- Provide hands-on leadership and oversight of all hotel operations, with strong focus on Rooms Division and Food & Beverage operations
- Drive exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high service standards, monitoring guest feedback and online reviews and ensuring effective service recovery
- Lead, coach and develop department heads and management teams, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, engagement and continuous improvement
- Support the achievement of revenue, profitability, productivity and cost control targets through sound operational and financial management
- Demonstrate strong business acumen by identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, guest satisfaction and financial performance
- Exercise sound judgment and decision-making in resolving operational, guest and employee-related issues
- Lead crisis management, emergency response, and business continuity efforts to ensure the safety and security of guests, associates and hotel assets
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, company policies, legal requirements and quality assurance programs
- Collaborate closely with all departments to drive operational effectiveness and deliver seamless guest experiences
- Support strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and execution of hotel business plans
- Act on behalf of the General Manager in their absence, ensuring smooth and effective hotel operations
- Promote a high-performance culture through talent development, succession planning and leadership coaching.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management or related fiel
- Minimum 6 - 8 years of experience in a similar Executive Assistant Manager role within an international five-star hote
- Strong operational background in Rooms Division and Food & Beverage Operation
- Proven leadership experience in managing hotel operations, people development, guest satisfaction and financial performanc
- Strong competencies in business acumen, financial management, problem-solving, decision-making, crisis management and stakeholder management.
