Job Description

About The Role:

This role will be supporting our client in their dynamic, fast-paced and spontaneous schedule. This person will be heavily supporting the management team in attending and accompanying external meetings, events, and business activities, capturing the moments that matter and turning them into compelling content. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany Executive Directors on field visits, external meetings, industry events, and business travel to capture content in real time
  • Produce same-day short-form video content (30 seconds to 1 minute) for leadership social media platforms
  • Film and edit personal brand videos, behind-the-scenes content, event coverage, and thought leadership pieces for each Executive Director
  • Handle basic photo editing and still content production alongside video
  • Manage content scheduling and publishing for each Executive Director's individual content calendar in coordination with the Marketing team
  • Write captions and copy in English and Mandarin to accompany visual content
  • Build a growing content library of leadership footage for use across campaigns and communications
  • Coordinate weekly scheduling with the Executive Directors to plan filming time in advance while remaining flexible for spontaneous opportunities
  • Travel out of station with leadership when required for shoots and events

Key Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Media Production, Communications, Journalism, or related field
  • 2–3 years of experience in video production and content creation
  • Bilingual proficiency: fluent in English AND Mandarin (written and spoken)
  • Valid Malaysian driving licence — must be able to drive independently to accompany leadership
  • Proficient in camera operation and basic lighting for on-location and interview scenarios
  • Able to produce quick-turnaround edits for same-day content output
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or equivalent
  • Flexible availability — able to work around leadership schedules including occasional evenings and weekends
  • Outgoing, adaptable personality — comfortable in unscripted, fast-moving situations with senior leadership

Remuneration:

MYR 3,500 - MYR 4,500
