Job Summary
To provide the necessary legal services as required/assigned (which includes the provisioning of legal advice and the drafting/reviewing of legal documents) with a view of ensuring the interest and rights of the Commission are well safeguarded and within the laws.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare the required legal advice on matters affecting the Commission, to ensure sound advice is provided in safeguarding the interests and rights of the Commission;
- Draft/vet legal documents involving the Commission, to ensure that the interests and rights of the Commission are well-protected; and
- Attend meetings with internal and external stakeholders which relate to the provisioning of the legal services required, including negotiations with counterparties, to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the legal matters raised and the legal interests of the Commission are well protected.
Qualification & Work Experience
- Candidate must possess at least a LLB (Hons) from a reputable university with a minimum CGPA of 3.0;
- A member of the Malaysian Bar will be an added advantage;
- Minimum 2-4 years of working experience. Exposure in handling corporate matters will be an added advantage.
- Exposure to communications and multimedia laws will be an added advantage
