Job Purpose

To support Head of Credit Planning, Infrastructure and Business Support (CPIBS) per the accountabilities listed below.

Job Responsibilities

  • Annual Credit Plan (30%)
  • Assist to co-ordinate, formulate and review Annual Credit Plan and issue internal guidelines/ circulars for implementation.
  • Prepare regular tracking reports of Annual Credit Plan position for submission to relevant committees.
  • Reporting (20%)
  • Prepare regular reports for submission to relevant stakeholders (Group Risk Management, relevant committees, regulator). Reports include:
  • Exceptions to Policy (Business)

ii. Updates on Bullet & Balloon Financing

iii. Internal productivity reports

  • Compliance (20%)
  • Appointed as Designated Risk and Compliance Officer (DRCO) to assist/ support Business Risk and Compliance Manager (BRCM) in managing the compliance and operational risks within the division. Among the activities are:
  • Assist to develop/ enhance Risk Control & Self-Assessment (RCSA)

ii. Report Key Risk Indicators (KRI) to Group Risk Management on periodic basis.

iii. Conduct/ Co-ordinate gap analysis

iv. Conduct self-testing/ validation to ensure adherence to policies/ guidelines as per the Compliance Matrix

  • Business Continuity Management (BCM) exercise review and update Risk Assessment and Business Impact Analysis (RABIA), Business Continuity Plan (BCP), plan call tree exercise, arrange BCP live test, etc.

vi. Assist to prepare and review Material Risk Assessment (MRA) for submission to Group Risk Management on yearly basis.

  • Business Support (20%)
  • Review and provide feedback on product program, business proposal, service request related to Loan Origination System (LOS), credit approving authority request, etc. put up by Business Units.
  • Coordinate and collate feedback on proposed revision of policies/ internal circulars and any adhoc policy updates initiated by Group Risk Management in addressing changes caused by internal and external factors.
  • Review current processes for potential improvement in terms of efficiency/ effectiveness.
  • Admin and adhoc tasks (10%)
  • Assist to attend to auditor's request / queries raised by GIAD, Group Compliance, BNM as well as external auditors.
  • Prepare annual budget and tracking of monthly OPEX to facilitate submission to Finance.
  • Perform administrative matters including:
  • Manage booking of Division meeting rooms

ii. Raise purchase requisition requests

iii.Manage contents of Division intranet portal

  • Assist to compile Key Performance Indicators (KPI) figures for GCCO and Division, including Group/ Bank performance and Division turnaround time (TAT).
  • Other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Skill & Responsibilities

  • Qualifications and Experience
  • Degree in Actuarial Finance and any related field
  • More than 2 years of experience in credit reporting and operational risk/ compliance.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office 365 Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Basic knowledge in SAS, MS Access, Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Good written, communication and analytical skills.
  • Meticulous and able to work independently.
