About the Client
Our client is a well-established and award-winning company, based in Malaysia. In line with their expansion, they are seeking for a dynamic Executive Director for their projects in Central & Genting Region.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and set up the company's Central & Genting Region operations, overseeing Project, Sales & Marketing, Finance & Admin, and other functions.
- Lead the full property development cycle, from project planning, design and construction to completion.
- Manage project planning, design coordination, tendering, construction progress, quality, cost and budget control.
- Oversee consultants, contractors and project teams, including tender evaluations and contract negotiations.
- Liaise with government authorities, consultants and contractors, and lead regular project/site meetings.
- Provide market insights and strategic input for business and budget planning.
- Identify and evaluate potential development sites and land banks.
- Conduct feasibility studies and assess project viability, sales assumptions on potential projects incorporating business and company risk profile.
- Pre-empt management on legal and commercial matters related to land transactions.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, Building, or related discipline.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in property development.
- Strong track record in construction quality and project delivery, with experience in CONQUAS, QLASSIC or similar standards.
- Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills; while staying focused on the big picture and be able to conceptualize both problems and solutions.
- Excellent English & Bahasa Malaysia communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to build long-term partnerships.
- Able to manage multiple priorities, drive decisions and lead change.
- Proficient in MS Office.
Remuneration:
- Basic Salary: RM30,000 - RM50,000
