Responsibilities
1. Provide guidance and support in the set up of new factory at overseas operating unit based on operation and standards at Jitra HQ.
2. Coordinate and standardize preventive maintenance procedures among global factories operation.
3. Work together with oversea manufacturing team on the process or product related matter and assist in trouble shooting / improvement
4. Communicate and follow up with machine suppliers on the development, installation and commissioning of new machinery at all factories
5. Able to design suitable machine layout according to production requirement and ensure that the building and facilities are able to support the machine in terms of electricity, water supply and structurally sound.
6. Ensure HVAC system can fulfill ISO 8 or higher clean room standards whilst able to recommend correct specification for building demands.
7. Ensure water supply to production is well within specification.
8. Ensure electrical supply meets production demand based on local authority guidelines.
9. Able to identify potentially hazardous waste generation from multiple sources and rectify the issues that arise.
10. Ensure environmental sustainability is available and is in line with company's vision and mission.
11. To improve and optimize current processing line to keep up with the latest innovation in Malaysia factories and ultimately, the overseas operating unit.
Requirements
1. Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status
2. Possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / equivalent.
3. Able to read and decipher engineering & machine drawing. Experience in handling Autocad software is an added advantage.
4. Will be based in factory in Jitra, Kedah initially and willing to travel or posted to overseas factory (Southeast Asia, South Asia, Latin America & Africa).
5. Minimum 2 years working experience in manufacturing environment is required.
6. Fluent in English - spoken and written
7. Have basic knowledge of QMS such as HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 22716 etc
8. Able to work independently and travel to other countries with minimum supervision.
9. Strong leadership & supervisory skills, excellent in problem solving, good communication & interpersonal skills, aggressive.
10. Technical machine knowledge is required. Knowledge of pharmaceutical machine is an added advantage
