Job Description



O

bjectives of the Position

  • Responsible to ensure timely inspection & calibration of Safety Equipments.
  • Monitoring the Total Manufacturing Cost at Dispersions Plant, Pasir Gudang.
  • Always Ensuring Legal Compliance & Corporate Conformance.
  • Motivate the Shopfloor personnel for Improving the EHS Practices.
  • Updating the team with newer standards for benchmarking.
  • Advise the Management with Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) & Department of Environment (DOE) requirements & updates.


Main Tasks




Related for EHS

  • Conduct Safety Induction for the New Employees, Contractors & Visitors.
  • Conduct Safety Trainings for the Forklift Safety to the Personnels.
  • Conduct review Job Safety Analysis of Contractors before the implementation of the work for OpEx & Capex Projects.
  • Conduct EHS Trainings on monthly basis for Contractors at Dispersions Plant.
  • Conduct timely inspection & replacements of Safety Harness & Ladders used in Dispersions Plant.
  • Maintain the PPEs for the Plant Personnel with appropriate records for Tracking.
  • Ensure proper reporting & closure of EHS KPIs like Yellow Card, Near Miss, Action Tracker, Stature, Unsafe Act & Unsafe Conditions, etc. in the system.


Related to Plant Management



  • Assist Plant Manager, in tracking the Total Manufacturing Cost for the Plant by creating a Report on Monthly Basis.
  • Responsible for Tracking the Purchase Orders (PO), Workcycles & receivables as per the timelines.
  • Guide the Plant team in Creating Purchase Request (PR).


Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Yellow Book or Green Book is preferred)
  • Minimum 5 Years (3 Year in Chemical Industry)
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.


Technical & Professional Knowledge:



  • Strong fundamentals in Occupational Safety.
  • Good interpersonal, leadership and time management skills with ability to interact in a multiple hierarchical level.
  • Continuous improvement techniques and methods including, overall asset effectiveness, Statistical techniques.
