Job Summary:
We are hiring Finance Executives in Accounts Payable (AP) / Accounts Payable Trade (AP Trade) / General Ledger (GL).This includes managing vendor invoices, payment runs, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, month-end and year-end closings, and supporting audits. The position plays a key role in maintaining financial integrity, strengthening internal controls, and enhancing operational efficiency within the finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full cycle of Accounts Payable (AP) including invoice processing, vendor payments, reconciliations, and aging reports.
- Handle Accounts Payable Trade (AP Trade) processes by ensuring accurate recording of vendor invoices, timely payment runs, and resolving discrepancies with suppliers.
- Oversee the General Ledger (GL) to ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions in compliance with GAAP.
- Perform monthly reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing reports, schedules, and documentation for AP and GL.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary records, reconciliations, and explanations.
- Maintain and update vendor and account master data while ensuring compliance with company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop, document, and enhance financial policies and procedures related to AP and GL to strengthen internal controls and improve efficiency.
- Undertake any other ad-hoc finance-related duties as assigned.
Qualification & Experience Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience in Finance, with exposure to Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Payable Trade (AP Trade), or General Ledger (GL) preferred.
- Experience in retail, e-commerce, or FMCG industries is an added advantage.
- Professional certifications (completed or in-progress) such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in financial software; hands-on experience with SAP or similar platforms is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
