Key Responsibilities
- Ensure implementation of safety policies and procedures in line with OSCPs, customer requirements, regulations, and industry standards.
- Promote awareness, understanding, and compliance among employees, and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance to site leaders and contractors to meet all requirements, including HIRARC reviews and Permit to Work (PTW) compliance.
- Deliver safety briefings and training to site leaders and stakeholders in line with internal and external regulations.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing clarification on OSCPs, SOPs, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
- Facilitate safety programs such as inductions, toolbox talks, and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) training. Use communication channels (alerts, posters, emails, intranet) to share updates, reminders, and success stories.
- Collaborate with Site Management to investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses. Conduct root cause analysis, identify contributing factors, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence and improve safety performance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, aligned with organizational objectives and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Qualification & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, or related field with 2–5 years of HSE experience in logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing environments
- Registered Safety & Health Officer, added advantage.
- Certified internal auditor for OHS Management System & Environmental Management System are an added advantage.
- Able to work onsite and support multiple operational sites or shifts, ensuring continuous HSE coverage.
