JOB SUMMARY

- This role requires strong system management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support daily system operations effectively including monitoring performance, coordinating enhancements, and resolving user issues to ensure seamless end-to-end functionality.
- Candidates are expected to work independently, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and proactively identify and resolve system- and data-related issues.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1.System Operations, Processing & Data Delivery
- Perform and monitor system-related set-up and processing activities, including but not limited to:
a) Market data processing
b) Trade processing
c) Period-end closing and ledger interface processing
d) Portfolio and cash account creation
e) Composite and list creation
f)Job, event, and schedule creation
- Analyse batch job execution results and data delivery status to identify issues and apply standard solutions, ensuring continuity of operations.
- Validate data outputs and troubleshoot discrepancies in collaboration with relevant parties to ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems.
2.System Support, Change Management & Documentation
- Investigate system issues, provide reliable support services, and liaise with users to address system-related queries in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with IT and vendors to implement system updates, patches, and enhancements, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Document and maintain system records, procedures, and user guides to ensure consistency, traceability, and compliance with established standards.
- Prepare and update issue logs, reports, and related documentation to support the tracking, analysis, and review of system-related matters.
3.Data Maintenance, Testing & Process Improvement
- Perform data updates and related analysis, where necessary, upon receipt of approved requests from stakeholders.
- Maintain system setup and data, including security master files, portfolio information, and market data, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate and support testing activities, including UAT and system validation, to ensure system changes are properly executed and meet quality requirements.
- Liaise with stakeholders and recommend improvements to processes, workflows, and controls to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Malaysian citizen.
- Pass the Malay Language including an oral test at the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or an equivalent qualification as recognized by the Government.
- Possess Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related qualifications recognized by the government.
- At least 2 to 4 years of experience in business analyst, process improvement, or related fields.
- Familiarity with working with automation tools (e.g., Blue Prism, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Query) and proficiency in process mapping or documentation is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using DMAIC or other Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
- Adept at stakeholder management, facilitating requirements-gathering sessions, and driving consensus.
- Experience in change management, user training, and project coordination.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business conditions.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven with strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
