JOB SUMMARY
Execute performance monitoring, analysis and reporting functions of EPF by managing data collection, performing advanced analysis and translating operational and performance data into strategic insights, dashboards and management reports. This role supports informed decision-making, performance governance and continuous improvement initiatives at Department, Region and Branch levels.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Initiate the collection, validation and consolidation of performance and operational data from multiple internal systems and relevant external sources to ensure completeness and reliability of data used for management reporting.
- Review, verify and ensure the integrity, accuracy and consistency of datasets by establishing data validation controls, resolving discrepancies and improving data quality standards.
- Prepare, analyse and present periodic and ad-hoc KPI performance reports and dashboards for management, highlighting key trends, risks, gaps and areas requiring intervention.
- Design, develop and enhance KPI dashboards and analytical models using Power BI, Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools to support performance tracking and informed decision-making.
- Conduct in-depth trend, variance and root cause analysis to assess performance outcomes, identify drivers of performance gaps and recommend corrective or improvement actions.
- Generate actionable performance insights and recommendations to support strategic planning, operational optimisation and product or service enhancement initiatives.
- Review and validate performance reports, dashboards and data visualisation materials prior to submission, ensuring clarity, accuracy and alignment with approved performance frameworks.
- Prepare high-quality data visualisation materials, executive summaries and presentation decks for management meetings, performance reviews and executive briefings.
- Coordinate, oversee and validate mystery shopper programmes, branch scoring exercises and assessment results to ensure compliance with approved methodologies and evaluation guidelines.
- Analyse performance-related appeals and feedback submitted by Branches and Regions, provide reasoned assessments and support fair and transparent performance review processes.
- Prepare branch and regional performance rankings, benchmarking analysis and comparative reports to support organisational performance evaluation.
- Provide guidance, technical support and on-the-job coaching to junior executives or team members in performance monitoring, data analysis and reporting activities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Malaysian citizen
- Pass in Bahasa Melayu, including oral test in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.
- Bachelor's Degree with honours in the field of Actuary Science / Statistics / Business Economics or equivalent qualifications from local or overseas higher learning institutions recognized by the Malaysian government.
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience in data analysis or performance monitoring, performance management and operational strategy or related areas.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn, work in a team and share knowledge.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, Power BI, Artificial Intelligence and related analytical tools.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with effective professional communication skills in Bahasa Melayu and English.
