JOB SUMMARY
To provide operational and application support for the maintenance, monitoring and continuous improvement of IFAMS, covering the SAP S/4HANA ecosystem and related financial systems, reporting, planning, data and integration platforms, ARIBA and related integrated systems. The role supports system stability, data integrity, issue resolution, testing, system enhancements, access governance and operational readiness to ensure effective financial operations and business continuity.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1.System Configuration & Maintenance
- Perform configuration and maintenance of ERP modules (e.g. SAP S/4HANA, SAC, ARIBA) and related system interfaces.
- Coordinate and support implementation of patches/upgrades/configuration with relevant technology teams/service providers.
- Participate in system automation, enhancement and digitalisation initiatives.
- Support the execution of system backup verification and disaster recovery (DR) drills.
2.Change Request & Issue Resolution
- Review and validate system-related change requests, including technical impact assessment, testing/deployment support and technical evidence/documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently including root cause analysis, recurring issues, workarounds, corrective/preventive actions and documentation.
3.Testing & Implementation Support
- Participate in system testing, including UAT and unit testing, as well as production readiness, cutover and post-implementation support.
- Ensure all enhancements and fixes are thoroughly tested before implementation.
4.System Documentation & Governance
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including system workflows, SOPs, technical guides, interface maps, and system architecture.
- Liaise with audit and compliance teams on system-related matters and support audit readiness efforts including technical evidence and compliance with financial systems governance/controls.
5.User Access & Control Management
- Conduct regular user access reviews and manage role provisioning to ensure proper segregation of duties and system security including SoD exception identification/escalation and access matrix updates.
- Maintain user access matrices and ensure alignment with internal control policies.
6.User Support & Training
- Provide technical guidance and support to end-users across departments for system navigation, error handling, and reporting.
- Assist in developing training materials and deliver system training sessions as needed.
7.Monitoring & Reporting
- Track and report key system performance indicators (KPIs), usage analytics, and system exceptions including system availability, service quality and operational performance monitoring.
- Monitor interface jobs, system logs, and ensure timely issue escalation and resolution.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Malaysian citizen.
- Obtain a pass in Bahasa Melayu, including an oral test in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent qualification recognised by the Government.
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field from higher learning institutions recognised by the Malaysian government
- Minimum 4 years of working experience in system support, IT operations, or ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Datasphere, SAP Ariba and/or enterprise system integration is an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of financial processes and ERP systems.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to analyse basic logs or reports to detect errors.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Able to work collaboratively in a team and handle multiple tasks with deadlines.
