Job Summary:
Assist & support Head of Liability through effective planning, managing to achieve underwriting budget and underwriting profit in accordance with the company/regulatory guidelines or benchmark.
Job Description:
- Assessment of risk acceptance according to underwriting guidelines.
- Prepare Quotations/ modify Quotation Slips of risks.
- Assist to monitor the portfolio and metrics related to underwriting activities, processes and risk acceptance rules in accordance with data analytics.
- Assist to update the underwriting policies and procedures timely.
- Assist in execution of System implementations and perform UAT testing.
- Assist in Training and building technical knowledge within organization.
- Ensure effective and efficient administration of day-to-day business operations in line with SOP across all support functions.
- Assist to provide technical support for other teams as and when required
- Full adherence to Underwriting Guidelines and work within Authority Limits.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and laws.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Insurance, Actuarial or related field
- Exposure and experience in Commercial Lines Underwriting is an added advantage
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
