Executive, Network Security Compliance

Job Summary

The position is tasked to support legal and regulatory compliance initiatives related to network security, aligning with national policy objectives, in order to ensure effective governance, compliance, and oversight of Malaysia's network environment and infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist in providing legal and regulatory support to the department on matters related to cybersecurity, communications, and compliance.

2. Support the review and interpretation of laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines under supervision.

3. Assist in the development and updating of regulatory frameworks, guidelines, and internal policies.

4. Conduct basic legal research and analysis to support ongoing projects, policy reviews, and regulatory initiatives.

5. Provide support in legal risk identification and highlight potential compliance issues for further assessment.

6. Assist in preparing and reviewing legal documents, reports, and official correspondence.

7. Support coordination with internal departments and external stakeholders (e.g., regulators, agencies) for information gathering and clarification.

8. Participate in meetings, engagements, and discussions, and prepare summaries or notes when required.

9. Ensure assigned tasks are carried out in compliance with legal, regulatory, and governance requirements.

10. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

Qualification & Work Experience

1. Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent from a recognised institution with a minimum CGPA of 3.00.

2. Minimum 2 years of working experience in regulatory, public policy and/or governance-related roles.
