Job Description

Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering (MMHE) is looking for a proactive, analytical, and driven professional to join our Legal, Corporate Secretarial & Compliance team as an Executive, Policy, Research & New Initiatives.

This role offers exciting exposure in shaping compliance culture, strengthening governance frameworks, driving policy enhancement initiatives, and supporting integrity practices across MMHE & MHB Group.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

Compliance & Integrity Initiatives

  • Support and coordinate compliance-related programs and integrity initiatives aligned with the organization's Code of Business Ethics (COBE), Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC) framework, and regulatory requirements.

Policy Development & Governance

  • Assist in developing, reviewing, enhancing, and maintaining corporate policies, governance frameworks, and compliance procedures to ensure alignment with industry standards and best practices.

Research & Benchmarking

  • Conduct research, benchmarking studies, and regulatory analysis on emerging compliance trends, laws, and governance practices to strengthen organizational readiness and resilience.

Compliance Review & Due Diligence

  • Support compliance assessments, due diligence reviews (DDRA), governance reviews, and risk mitigation initiatives involving vendors, business partners, and stakeholders.

Regulatory Monitoring

  • Monitor new and evolving regulations related to PDPA, Conflict of Interest, Economic Sanctions, Anti-Competition practices, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), and recommend proactive improvements to internal processes and controls.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external regulatory bodies, legal networks, and industry associations to support governance excellence and organizational integrity.

What We're Looking For:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Law, Corporate Governance, or related disciplines

  • 1–3 years of working experience in Compliance, Governance, Risk Management, and/or Internal Audit

Familiar with:

• Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC)

• Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA)

• Corporate Governance & Compliance frameworks

• Risk Assessment / Due Diligence practices

Strong analytical thinking, research capability, communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
