Job Summary

This role is responsible for managing procurement operations for Duopharma Group companies. You will oversee sourcing, supplier coordination, import/shipping activities, and procurement processes to ensure timely material availability, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• To ensure all purchases of trade related items are purchased on a timely basis with the right quality, quantity and at the right price.
• To liaise and negotiate effectively with the suppliers to support the company cost saving programs and its objectives.
• To develop alternate sources of materials with suppliers that meet the specifications and requirement laid down by in House COA or and approved source.
• To constantly jointly evaluate with the Assistant Manager, Procurement in cost reduction options without compromising other Procurement dimensions.
• To effectively coordinate with the suppliers on the delivery of the goods in order to ensure goods are being delivered on a timely basis & free of quality issue.
• To monitor and evaluate supplier effectiveness and performance through compilation of vendor performance on a monthly basis.
• Assist on coordinating all import/shipping activities in order to ensure timely clearance of materials.
• To ensure timely submission of monthly savings report and any other related reports.
• To support other internal departments as and when there are enquiries or issues raised pertaining to procurement related matters.
• To assist in the daily procurement matters and other duties as and when required by the Management.
• To provide team support to the peers from Procurement Department especially during their absence of duties.
• To coordinate artwork approval by QA before mass printing.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain environment.

Technical Skills & Knowledge

• Knowledge of procurement operations and supplier management
• Familiarity with SAP MM and Microsoft Office applications
• Understanding of import/export documentation and shipping coordination
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Good written and verbal communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia
