Responsible to conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and trends. Assist in the analysis of market trends and competitive landscape. To contribute to the creation of product requirements and design documents. Assist in the development of marketing materials for new/existing Takaful products. Assist in the distribution of sales materials and training slides to support the sales team. Support the product development team in the development of new Takaful products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches. Ensuring the successful execution of partnership strategies. Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Description
- To assist line manager & Head of Department in developing & driving the product strategies & strategic initiatives.
- To conduct market research within Takaful/Insurance Industry to ensure products offered can achieve the various target and market set by our strategic directions.
- To assist in the development of marketing materials for new/existing Takaful products.
- To assist in the creation of Product Bulletin, Sales reporting/analysis and any other sales materials.
- To collaborate with Banca Distribution team to analyse business performance, customer acquisition, and retention rates, and provide insights to optimize marketing strategies.
- To support the product development team in the development of new Takaful products (including enhancement of existing products).
- To come out with an idea for a sales toolkit to aid the sales team in effectively promoting Takaful products.
Qualifications / Requirements
- A degree majoring in Marketing, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Data Science or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in product development, marketing, or partnerships (preferably in insurance or Takaful industry).
- Exposure to market research and analytics is an added advantage.
