Executive, Safety & Security (KLGCC Mall)

Job Purpose

1. Support the organization within every area Security & Safety
2. Maintaining and sustaining the mall's safety from time to time

Job Responsibilities

1. Assist Safety Manager in implementing, maintaining and controlling the Environment, Health and Safety Management in compliance with local regulatory requirements and SDP's Security & Safety Policies, Procedures and Framework
2. To organize and maintain a working organization of OSH committee, ERT, FRT and CMT in compliance with SDP's Security & Safety Procedures and local authorities regulations
3. Assist in developing safety framework and security policies, procedures and training development and promote awareness to all SDPs staff, tenants staff, contractors and visitors to ensure compliance
4. To ensure all Fire Prevention & Control, Life Safety and Security System maintained and always in good operation as per SDP's Security & Safety Procedures
5. Analyze and provide risk assessment on work environment design and implement programs to control, eliminate and prevent injuries and environment impact to the mall, occupants and environment
6. To prepare, analyze and provide risk impact report on all safety & security incidents fatal, non-fatal and near miss
7. Assist in liaising with local state & government authorities on all safety related matters
8. Liaison for insurance company for any incidents involving fire, property damage, public liability, consequential loss and other possible claims covered under BISB insurance policies
9. To conduct regular tenant inspection in relation to Sec-Check, SDP, local authority safety and security requirements.
10. To assist in planning on CAPEX and OPEX Budget for safety department.
11. To assist in planning and running Fire Drill as per compliance to SDP's Security & Safety Procedures

Education/Professional Qualification

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Environmental Science / Engineering, Chemical Science or Chemical Engineering, or any related field with minimum 3 years of experience.
• Preferably registered Safety & Health Officer with DOSH or Security Department
• Relevant professional qualification eg: CIDB Green Card

Professional Experience

Minimum of 3-5 years experience in safety / security management
