Job Responsibilities
Core System Management
1. Set up and update system parameters (settings) based on business needs.
2. Fix system issues, propose quick solutions, and escalate complex problems.
3. Run tests for new updates, document changes, and keep backups secure.
Project Leadership
1. Manage projects like system upgrades, branch expansions, or process improvements.
2. Create proposals for system enhancements and get management approval.
3. Train or guide branch and head office staff on how to use new systems and procedures.
Operations Support
1. Answer branch questions about daily operations, systems, or procedures.
2. Develop and review manuals for branch staff.
3. Assist set up systems and processes for new branches.
System Improvements
1. Find ways to enhance systems and procedures for optimize performance.
2. Work and collaborate with tech teams and internal/external counter-part.
3. Leverage SQL skills for data-driven parameter validation, system debugging, and
automated reporting.
Job Requirements
1.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Computer Science, Accounting, Business
Administration, or a related field.
2.3 to 5 years in banking operations, IT, or project management.
3.Hands-on experience with core banking systems (parameter setup is essential).
4.Specialised, Technical/Other Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of core banking system Knowledge and experience with banking products and operations
5.Strong analytical and problem solving skills Expertise in Excel, managing data and basic programming skill.
6.Able to work independently and as a team Knowledge of basic programming and SQL is a plus, particularly for data analysis and system queries.
7.Strong command of English; proficiency in Mandarin and Bahasa Melayu is advantageous.
