Executive/ Senior Executive, Pricing and Analytics

The Pricing and Analytics team is a centralized analytics department for the organization. We are a group of young, creative and energetic people who are professionals in product pricing, data analytics and Business Intelligence (BI) reporting. The team is actively involved in company initiatives for improving the business. You will be part of the pricing division of the Pricing and Analytics team, responsible for performing pricing, portfolio analysis and monitoring as well as various data analytics initiatives involving Machine Learning. These activities are conducted in tandem with the relevant regulatory requirements, actuarial standards and MSIG's Data Management and Management Information System framework to support MSIG's business strategies. You will be using Tableau, SAS as well as other related tools in supporting the business decision-making process.

What You'll Do:

• Pricing Responsible for product pricing and preparation of the necessary product documentation reports for internal records and external filing purposes.
• Monitoring Responsible for monitoring the performance of specific portfolios together with regular reporting to senior management. This also includes monitoring of industry trends and its impact on MSIG's business.
• Analytics Responsible in supporting various data analytics projects in sales, underwriting and claims.

Who You Are:

• A degree in actuarial science or related field
• Good exam progression with either the Casualty Actuarial Society (USA) / Institute of Actuaries (UK) / Institute of Actuaries of Australia (Australia)
• Basic knowledge of general insurance business
• Basic knowledge of actuarial-related technical and statistical skills
• Basic knowledge of computer programming as well as accounting and finance
• *Basic knowledge of data science and Machine Learning techniques
• Methodical with a strong attention to detail
• Willing and quick to learn new ideas, skills and knowledge
• *Can demonstrate basic working knowledge of Tableau

*This knowledge is preferred but is not compulsory. Candidates without this knowledge are also encouraged to apply if they fulfill the other pre-requisites and can demonstrate a willingness to learn.
