Role Description
The Executive/Sr. Executive, Business Process Improvement will support the enhancement of operational efficiency and service excellence across the JLG ecosystem by identifying process gaps, streamlining workflows, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role will work closely with stakeholders across multiple functions and business units to improve operational processes, support automation initiatives, and contribute towards organizational transformation and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, collaborative, and passionate about process improvement and organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibility
Business Process Improvement
- Review and analyze existing operational workflows, business processes, and service delivery practices.
- Identify inefficiencies, operational gaps, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Recommend and implement process enhancement initiatives to improve efficiency, productivity, turnaround time, and service quality.
- Develop, maintain, and standardize SOPs, workflow documentation, and process guidelines.
Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives across the organization.
- Participate in process reengineering and workflow optimization projects.
- Monitor and track improvement initiatives through KPIs, reporting, and performance analysis.
- Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Digitalization & Automation
- Identify opportunities for digitalization and process automation.
- Collaborate with IT and relevant stakeholders on system enhancement and workflow improvement initiatives.
- Support adoption of digital tools and process standardization across departments.
Stakeholder Management & Project Coordination
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand operational challenges and business requirements.
- Facilitate process review sessions, workshops, and improvement discussions.
- Coordinate project timelines, implementation activities, and follow-up actions.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, and recommendations for management review.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure process improvements comply with organizational policies, governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support audit and compliance initiatives through proper documentation and process controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Management, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 2–5 years of working experience in business process improvement, operational excellence, project management, or related functions.
- Experience working in a shared services environment or supporting multiple business units/functions is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Good communication, stakeholder management, and coordination abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Exposure to digital transformation, workflow automation, or process improvement tools is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or continuous improvement methodologies will be an added advantage.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
