JOB SUMMARY
This role is to support the coordination, development, and monitoring of the Operations Division's strategic plan, performance management framework, and departmental plans, as well as assist in implementing the Balanced Scorecard across Division and Department levels, and ensuring timely and accurate reporting and analysis to support decision-making.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Strategic Planning and Performance Management
- Assist in coordinating the preparation of the Operations Division 3-Year Plan and Departmental Business Plan;
- Support the development and implementation of the Balanced Scorecard framework at Division and Department level;
- Track and monitor KPI achievements and support follow-up on action plans to address performance gap;
- Assist in preparing Customer Charter (Janji Kami) metrics, tracking, and reporting;
- Support preparation of materials for EPF Strategy Meetings (ESM), townhalls, and internal engagements;
- Assist in the preparation of write-ups and data for quarterly reports, press releases, and Annual Report (Operations-related sections);
- Act as a supporting reference point for performance and planning-related matters within the team.
2) Data Analytics, Insights & Visualisation
- Apply analytical tools (e.g. Power BI, Excel, or equivalent platforms) to prepare, analyse, and interpret data from multiple internal and external sources to support forecasting, performance monitoring and decision-making.
- Identify trends, patterns, and correlations to generate meaningful insights aligned to business objectives.
- Translate data findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic planning, performance improvement, and operational decision-making.
- Present analytical findings in a structured and compelling manner using data storytelling techniques (e.g. charts, visuals, and simplified narratives) to support understanding among stakeholders, including senior management.
3) Reporting
a. Support coordination of meetings and preparation of reports for:
- Operations Division 3-Year Plan and Department Business Plan;
- Division and Department scorecard performance;
- Customer Charter reporting;
- Monthly and quarterly initiative tracking;
b. Ensure timely consolidation and submission of reports from Departments;
c. Maintain proper documentation and version control of reports and presentations.
4) Liaison Officer/ Champion
- Be a liaison officer/ champion in the Department if appointed by the Head of Department/ Head of Section such as LO for Training and Personnel Development, LO for Risk Management, LO for Budget Management, LO for Procurement and/ or LO Audit
- Perform the tasks assigned as a champion in an orderly manner
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Malaysian citizen
- Pass Malay Language, including the oral test, at the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Government
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree with honours in Statistics/Actuarial Science/Mathematics, Business Administration/Economics or related fields from recognised Institutions
- Minimum 4 - 7 years of relevant experience in strategic planning/performance management or data analysis
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Good coordination and stakeholder management capabilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English and Bahasa Melayu)
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
