JOB PURPOSE
- This position plays a vital role in supporting and strengthening the Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) function through strategic governance, assurance, and cultural programs. It is responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HSE governance frameworks, compliance mechanisms, capability development, and safety culture initiatives.
- The role also ensures effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and divisional content management to align with corporate requirements and operational needs, contributing to a safe, sustainable, and compliant work environment across the organization.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain the establishment and maintenance of HSE Governance and Assurance Management framework, MISC MGF elements, myAssurance, myGovernance, OLA etc.
- Formulate, review and maintain the HSE Legal Register as per required by the relevant standards, including the coordination with stakeholders and communication of updated registers.
- Establishing and sustaining strategic alliances with Government/regulatory authorities, industry partners and stakeholders. Stakeholders Engagement Plan.
- Tabulation of HSSE cultural campaign – Speak-up, Line of Fire, Life-saving Rules, Human Performance etc.
- Implementation of Annual Compliance and Enforcement Program – coordination with workplace owners and leadership.
- Coordination of HSSE Assurance Program aligned with business operational needs and Group (MISC/PETRONAS).
- HSE & ER capability development plan in ensuring relevant resources required by business/operation are readily available.
- Rakan HSSE – Program and GCRH/GCFL Training – including to staff and subcontractors
- HSSE & Sustainability Day – Leading the organisation
- We Speak-up for Safety – establishment, implementation and monitoring.
- Media Publication - divisional content.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Degree in related OSH program, experience in OSH, or competency in OSH
- At least 3 years experience in the field of HSE or Quality Assurance & Audit. Possess sound knowledge in IMS – ISO45001, ISO14001, OSHA & EQA.
