Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Core Sales & Customer Acquisition

  • Perform 40+ successful business calls daily to dealers and sales agents, focusing on conversion and relationship-building.
  • Generate fresh contact leads from competitor platforms and market research.
  • Engage all assigned dealers to promote new products and services, ensuring clear value communication.
  • Train and guide dealers on effective advertising methods, while securing regular inventory updates (weekly/monthly).
  • Drive new customer acquisition across key regions, including East Coast, Sabah, and Sarawak.
  • Convert free users into paying customers through strong product pitching and objection handling.

Account Growth & Retention

  • Build, manage, and grow customer accounts by planning and executing strategies that increase monthly spending.
  • Ensure listing quality meets PIPP standards (Pictures, Information, Price & Position) for maximum visibility.
  • Promote Carlist Qualified offerings (Inspection Report & Extended Warranty) to enhance ad credibility and dealer trust.
  • Gather and analyse market intelligence from assigned territories to identify opportunities and stay ahead of competitors.

Authorization/ Structure

  • Reset password upon request from dealers
  • Create accounts for new customers
  • No changes on daily work, scope and responsibilities unless instructed by Head of Sales, Classifieds, Malaysia.

Requirements:

  • Strong product knowledge and ability to present solutions confidently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer applications.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette, persuasive communication, and customer handling skills.
  • Strong time management, discipline, and ability to work independently to achieve sales targets.
  • Proficient in both Malay and English (spoken & written).
  • Ability to speak Mandarin will be considered an added advantage.
