Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Export Sales Executive based in Subang Jaya. The Export Sales Executive will be responsible for developing and managing overseas customer accounts, driving export sales growth, and supporting international business expansion.

Key responsibilities include handling export sales enquiries, managing the end-to-end sales process, identifying new business opportunities, preparing proposals and quotations, and negotiating with international customers and distributors. The role also involves coordinating closely with internal departments to ensure smooth production planning, shipment arrangements, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with overseas customers, distributors, and business partners.
  • Handle export sales enquiries, prepare quotations, and follow up on orders to ensure timely closure and delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal departments on production planning, shipment arrangements, and delivery schedules.
  • Identify and develop new export markets and business opportunities to achieve sales growth targets.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and support overall export business growth.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to support business strategies.
  • Manage customer feedback, complaints, and after-sales support professionally and efficiently.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, export documentation, and other related reports for management review.
  • Participate in trade exhibitions, customer visits, and business development activities as required.
  • Ensure compliance with export procedures, shipping requirements, and documentation standards.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, International Trade, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in export sales or international business development.
  • Experience in food, frozen food, fruit, or FMCG export industry will be an added advantage.
  • Familiar with export procedures, shipping documents, and Incoterms.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Able to communicate in English and Mandarin to support coordination with China and export market customers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong sense of responsibility with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
