Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bintulu, Sarawak. The Food & Beverage Manager (or Assistant Manager) will be responsible for overseeing daily food and beverage operations, managing staff, and maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise daily food and beverage operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Manage and motivate staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Conduct regular outlet staff training to maintain service, product, and operational standards across all outlets.
- Plan and execute food and beverage strategies aligned with the hotel's brand standards.
- Ensure compliance with quality, hygiene, and health regulations.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue growth.
- Coordinate with other departments to enhance overall guest experiences.
- Develop and implement monthly food & beverage promotions, as well as festive and special occasion campaigns (e.g., Chinese New Year, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day).
- Innovate new concepts and menus to keep offerings fresh, engaging, and competitive.
Qualifications
- Experience with Food Service and Food & Beverage operations
- Ability to provide excellent Customer Service and leadership
- Skills in Training and staff development to ensure a well-equipped team
- Proficiency in Budgeting and financial planning for food and beverage operations
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with effective time management skills
- Prior experience in hospitality or food and beverage management is preferred
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field is considered an advantage
