Role Description
The Fruits and Vegetables (F&V) Department Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role located in Village Grocer Mont Kiara. The primary responsibility includes overseeing the daily operations of the fruits and vegetables department in the store to ensure high-quality merchandise and an excellent customer shopping experience. Key tasks involve managing inventory, supervising staff, ensuring hygiene and food safety compliance, developing strategies to optimize department performance, and managing promotional activities to maximize sales. The Supervisor will consistently uphold company standards and policies while fostering a positive and efficient working environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in retail operations, inventory management, and merchandising
- Knowledge of handling fresh produce and ensuring food safety compliance
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in using retail management software and basic computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs
- Prior experience in the supermarket or F&V sector is an advantage
