Job Description

FACILITIES ENGINEER I / PROCESS SAFETY TECHNOLOGIST

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Evaluate and comment on discipline engineering work performed both internally and by Contractors and sub-contractors to ensure that work is being executed in accordance with Company specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements. Facilitates effective execution of discipline engineering and design routines that align with the team's goals, objectives, and procedures. Assures accurate and timely communication among the team and other company Functions on discipline engineering activities, progress, and issues. In addition to technical ability, they should demonstrate sound communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

Risk Resource management

Collects global site information annually through Site contact or direct site request

Compile calendar HAZOP needs for budgeting and resourcing purposes

Update on monthly basis for changes/updates

Work with procurement on POs, invoicing where applicable

Stewardship activities

Support site process safety stewardship requirements leveraging established templates

Update template as required by sites

Ensure consistent stewardship requirements

Process Safety data analytics

Prepare relevant process safety data in EnableSafe for analysis

Develops and maintains templates and trending

Support HAZOP optimization with platform/site data

KLTC EnableSafe Risk Repository Administrator (support KLTC engineers)

Training of new KLTC process safety engineers

Potentially carry out the annual refresher training course for global sites

Process Safety Training Coordination

Work with Global Principal Engineers and Global Training Team to schedule Process Safety Engineering training courses (beginning of year)

Ensure that training calendar is up to date (manage registration cancel or add classes if necessary, finding backfill if shuffling of instructors is needed and inform stakeholders, etc.)

Maintain qualified trainers list, including next-in-line trainers and succession plan

SharePoint Admin

One-off SharePoint tidy up

Maintain evergreen status

Global Practices (GP) Coordination

Maintain list of GPs owned by Process Safety ensure roles like owner, author, Principal Engineer reviewers, S&E reviewers, etc. are up to date. Develop SharePoint to manage this info as SharePoint Admin

REQUIREMENTS

Diploma in related engineering specialty, or equivalent professional experience,

1-2 years working experience

Ability to learn new computing systems

Proficiency and Understanding of Enable Safe or Enablon Software, or experience with managing large database will be an advantage

Basic understanding of procurement processes (Basic)

Able to Trigger PRs /POs ,Process invoices

Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities

Ability to coordinate with different functions/multiple stakeholders in multiple countries

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs

Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications
