Job Description

Role Overview:

We are looking for a hands-on Property & Facilities Executive to manage and maintain the operations of our facility at the 103 FCZ area. The role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing equipment (electrical, ACMV, fire alarm & protection systems, water systems, etc.), coordinating maintenance programs, managing addition and alteration works with contractors, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety. The ideal candidate will support HSE training and emergency drills, maintain tools and housekeeping, prepare progress reports for management, and assist the Facilities Manager with ad hoc tasks, demonstrating a proactive and detail-oriented approach to facility operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform Preventive Maintenance activities and ensuring smooth operation of the facility.
  • Troubleshoot/repair facilities equipment and quality failure (Electrical, ACMV, Fire Alarm & Protection System, Portable Water System and etc.)
  • Assist to plan, schedule, and coordinate all building, mechanical and electrical maintenance programs and upgrading works.
  • To identify & report, whenever there are any potential operating problems for any maintenance work immediately without delay.
  • Manage Addition & Alteration work with contractors to meet timely delivery.
  • Ensure buildings are always maintained to a good standard of cleanliness.
  • Assist on the training, toolbox meetings, and drills are implemented as part of the company's training and HSE program, i.e., emergency response systems, etc.
  • To ensure safekeeping of hand tolls and maintain good housekeeping
  • To ensure all works carried out safely and / or in accordance with safety procedures.
  • Assist to prepare work progress report for Management upon required.
  • Any other tasks, when required by Facilities Manager
  • Working at 103 FCZ area.

Requirement:

  • Facilities Management / Equipment maintenance experience with a proven track record
  • Supervisory and managerial skills
  • Strong knowledge in maintenance, electronic and mechanic maintenance
  • Strong organizational, communication, understand layout & SLD, record keeping skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office suit (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • Able to communicate at least English and Malay
  • Able to work independently
