We are looking for an experienced
Facilities Manager to take ownership of day-to-day operations within a
live data centre environment. This is a key site-based role responsible for ensuring the facility operates safely, efficiently, and in line with strict service and compliance standards.
You will act as the
on-site lead, working closely with clients, engineering teams, and vendors to maintain uptime, manage risk, and drive continuous improvement.
What you'll be doing as our Facilities Manager:
- Manage day-to-day facilities operations in a critical data centre environment
- Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
- Coordinate activities across power, cooling, fire systems, security, and BMS
- Act as the primary client interface, providing updates, reporting, and escalation
- Manage suppliers, contractors, and specialist vendors ensuring compliance and safety
- Maintain documentation, compliance records, and asset registers
- Lead incident response, risk management, and operational improvements
- Ensure all activities meet health & safety, compliance, and service standards
What we're looking for in our Facilities Manager:
- Experience in data centre, critical environment, or technical facilities management
- Strong understanding of day two operations, maintenance, and service delivery
- Knowledge of critical systems (power, cooling, fire, BMS, security)
- Proven experience managing contractors and vendors in live environments
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Confident communicator with client-facing experience
- Understanding of SLAs, KPIs, and operational performance
