Provides support for physical moves of people and equipment as well as technical support for the maintenance and infrastructure of the facility.
Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Operations & Maintenance
- Oversee and maintain facility systems including HVAC (WCPU), air compressors, air dryers, sewage treatment systems, and general building infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with work-at-height safety standards during maintenance activities.
- Hands-On Technical Support
- Perform maintenance and servicing of cooling towers and split unit air conditioners.
- Install and maintain Compressed Dry Air (CDA) piping and compressor piping systems.
- Support new production line setups, including electrical wiring and infrastructure readiness.
- Project Execution
- Manage facility installation projects, expansions, and upgrades aligned with production requirements.
- Supervise infrastructure works to ensure safe and efficient operations in accordance with Malaysian electrical codes.
- Safety & Compliance
- Enforce adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry standards.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure facility operations support manufacturing goals.
- Coordinate with vendors and manage service contracts for equipment and utility maintenance.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of preventive maintenance (PM), troubleshooting activities, and facility reports
What Your Background Should Look Like
- Minimum 3 years of experience in facility management within a manufacturing environment.
- Preferably experienced in antenna, electronics, or cable assembly industries.
- Strong hands-on expertise in:
- HVAC systems
- Air compressors
- CDA and compressor piping systems
- Electrical and mechanical facility infrastructure
