At STMicroelectronics, we are looking for a technically strong and forward-thinking Facility Engineer (HVAC Systems) to help maintain and elevate the performance of our critical facility infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to work in a high-tech manufacturing environment where precision, reliability, and continuous improvement are essential to operational success.

As a key member of the Facility team, you will take ownership of HVAC system performance that directly supports production stability, cleanroom integrity, and overall plant excellence.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Ensure the reliable operation and preventive maintenance of critical HVAC systems, including chillers, AHUs, PCW, WCPU, ACSU, cooling towers, and cleanroom systems.
  • Lead troubleshooting, system optimization, and engineering support activities to sustain stable plant operations.
  • Support facility projects such as renovations, expansions, new construction, and production environment improvement initiatives.
  • Execute maintenance and operation activities in accordance with SOPs, FMEA, Control Plans, and OCAP requirements.
  • Analyze system capacity, demand, and performance trends to resolve chronic issues and strengthen reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless support for production and facility needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement, team coordination, coaching, and engineering best practices.
  • Manage HVAC-related audits, documentation, cleanroom compliance, and internal re-layout activities.
  • Contribute to operational excellence through proactive problem-solving and strong technical ownership.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Min 5 years of experience in HVAC or facility engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of HVAC systems and facility operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for reporting, budgeting, RCA, 8D problem solving, and project tracking.
  • Strong English communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multinational environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and ready to take initiative in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with company procedures, safety requirements, and applicable standards
  • Support safe work practices, risk control, and equipment reliability always
