Facility Engineer

1. Education:

• Minimum Degree in Occupational Health & Safety

• Attended OSH-C Training is an advantage.

2. Experience:

• Relevant experience with contractor management, permit to work, risk assessment, safety inspections, monitoring and compliance with safety regulations is valuable.

3. Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with contractors, vendors and employees from various department.

• Ability to understand and apply local, state, and federal safety regulations.

• Knowledge of scheduled waste management, and emergency response protocols • Familiarity with safety equipment and procedures.

• Microsoft Offices – Excel, Word

Job Task

• E-permit review and approval
• Contractor management - Regularly monitor contractor and vendor job on site, especially those high risk activity.
• Equipment Buyoff
• Issue Permit to Work for high risk activity - working at height, hot work permit, confine space, etc.
• Jig & fixture buyoff
• Ladder buy off
• Weekly inspection for scheduled waste store
• Monthly inspection for eyewash using checklist -Update monthly PM stickers for eyewash
• Change RPL Badge for x-ray machines
• Support for EHS Monitoring activities (e.g. LEV, IAQ, Boundary Noise, Genset, NRA, CHRA, CEM, etc.)
• Support for scheduled waste activity
• Provide safety briefing to contractor/vendor/supplier
• Other tasks may assign by superior when require.
