Job Description

We're the team helping Arnott's win in Asia. Campbell Malaysia is the Asia hub for The Arnott's Group, based in Kuala Lumpur, shaping strategy and building our footprint across the region.

We're behind brands found in real kitchens and real snack drawers, from Campbell's and Prego to Kimball and Cheong Chan, plus Swanson, GoodTime, and Nyam Nyam. We're also part of the Arnott's family that includes icons like Tim Tam, Shapes, and Farm Bake Cookies.

Summary of the role

As Factory Manager, you'll lead end-to-end factory performance across both Production and Engineering, owning safe, compliant and reliable operations while improving OEE, cost, quality and service.

This is a high-impact leadership role within a 300-employee food & beverage manufacturing site, with responsibility to strengthen day-to-day execution while building the capabilities, systems and disciplines needed to support the factory's next phase of growth. You'll drive performance through structured continuous improvement, reliability programs, disciplined capital execution, and automation and digitalisation initiatives that improve supply reliability and operational capability.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead Production and Engineering teams to deliver plan attainment, supply reliability, labour productivity and cost performance across the factory
  • Drive OEE and asset reliability through strong maintenance discipline, breakdown reduction, constraint removal and better execution routines
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, SHE and environmental standards, while building a strong culture of accountability and operational discipline
  • Build a continuous improvement culture through structured problem-solving, performance management routines and best-practice benchmarking
  • Lead automation, digitalisation and capex projects from scoping through commissioning and stabilisation, including new process or technology implementation
  • Coach and develop leaders across shopfloor and support teams, strengthening technical capability, leadership depth and succession readiness

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Engineering such as Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Manufacturing or Mechatronic, or Food Science.
  • At least 12 years of manufacturing leadership experience, with strong exposure to both production operations and engineering or reliability.
  • Strong understanding of plant operations and food processing; exposure to canning, thermal processing or hygienic engineering would be an advantage
  • Proven track record in improving OEE, plan attainment, cost control and equipment reliability through continuous improvement systems
  • Strong capex and project management capability, including automation, digitalisation and shopfloor change leadership

Why join us

This is an opportunity to lead a growing foods and beverages manufacturing operation with broad ownership across production, engineering, reliability and transformation, while playing a key role in building the next phase of factory performance and capability.
