Job Description
KEY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist FA engineers in conducting failure analysis and identified root causes for RMA (Return Material Analysis) and internal production fall out units.
- Ensuring compliance with the agreed turnaround time (TAT).
- Assist in implementing preventive actions to prevent the recurrence of quality issues.
- Prepared and submitted quality reports to superiors as required.
- Participated in product evaluations to determine the most effective defect screening methods.
- Took part in quarterly or as-needed product inventory counts.
- Operate and maintain failure analysis equipment, ensuring that it is calibrated and in good working order. Troubleshoot equipment as needed.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Optoelectronics or Telecommunications).
- At least 5 years of experience in optical device testing/repair related industry and in mass production environment.
- Familiar with basic knowledge and principle of optical devices.
- Candidates without appropriate experience may be accepted by the hiring manager subject to job nature, availability of buddy, duration of learning, etc.
- With good computer literacy, good communication skill and reporting of information/ data.
- Familiar with circuit diagrams and a strong background in Electronics.
- Familiarity with test instruments (Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, etc.)
- Experience in troubleshooting PCBA preferred.
- Can work independently and work with support teams as needed.
- Has basic knowledge of optical circuit, circuit analysis, problem solving and master the use of optical module test instruments.
- 8D knowledge is an advantage.
