Feedstock Partnerships Manager (Palm Oil Mills)

About the Role

UMeWorld is developing Project Verdant, a renewable fuels platform in Southeast Asia, and is seeking a Feedstock Partnerships Manager to lead engagement with palm oil mills.

This role focuses on building direct relationships and long-term partnerships around palm-based waste streams. It is a field-based, execution-focused role centered on originating and securing mill-level partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and engage palm oil mills across Malaysia and/or Indonesia
• Build and maintain relationships with:

Mill owners

Plantation groups

Independent operators

• Develop and secure commercial partnerships related to:

Palm-based waste streams

By-product utilization

• Negotiate and close partnership agreements with mills
• Conduct site visits and support internal evaluation of opportunities
• Build a pipeline of target mills based on scale, location, and potential
• Provide internal teams with:

Site-level insights

Feedstock data

Partnership inputs

• Monitor industry developments and identify expansion opportunities

Requirements

• Experience in:

Palm oil industry / mill operations

Plantation groups or mill-level commercial roles

• Existing relationships with palm oil mills
• Proven ability to originate and close agreements
• Understanding of:

Mill operations

Palm-based by-products (e.g., POME, residues)

• Willingness to travel and work on the ground

Important Note

This role is focused on direct mill engagement and partnerships.

It does not involve trading, UCO sourcing, or aggregator-based feedstock procurement.
