Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for EAGLE's entire product line, including 5G, LTE/LTE-A, UMTS/HSPA, GSM/GPRS, and other wireless technologies.
- Conduct schematic reviews for customer hardware designs to ensure correct integration of EAGLE modules.
- Support customers with hardware interface bring-up and debugging, including I2C, UART, USB, and SPI.
- Assist customers with Linux-based system integration, configuration, and driver-level troubleshooting.
- Apply a structured, methodical troubleshooting process to identify root causes across hardware and software layers.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, including product demonstrations and integration assistance.
- Deliver technical training and documentation to customers and internal teams to support product adoption.
- Support field trials and validation of wireless communication systems in real-world environments.
- Stay current with industry trends across cellular technologies (5G, LTE, UMTS, GSM) and Linux based embedded systems.
Preferred Education/Experience/Competencies/Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a Field Application Engineer or similar technical support role.
- Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems in an embedded or customer-support context.
- Experience reviewing hardware schematics and supporting customer hardware bring-up.
- Working knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
- Ability to read and review hardware schematics.
- Basic understanding of how device drivers work and interact with hardware.
- Familiarity with common hardware interfaces: I2C, UART, USB, and SPI.
- Strong, structured troubleshooting process for diagnosing hardware and software issues.
- Solid understanding of wireless technologies and protocols: 5G, LTE/LTE-A, UMTS/HSPA, GSM/GPRS.
- Experience with modem integration, device driver development, or kernel-level debugging is preferred.
- Familiarity with RF fundamentals and antenna considerations is preferred.
