Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Field Application Engineer based in Malaysia. The Field Application Engineer will provide technical support and guidance to clients, focusing on the integration, implementation, and troubleshooting of machine vision systems. The role involves collaborating with the sales team to offer pre-sales and post-sales support, testing and commissioning vision solutions, and maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction by addressing technical concerns.

Qualifications

• Experience in Field Applications and providing effective Technical Support
• Knowledge in Sales processes with the ability to effectively communicate technical solutions
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin
• Background in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related technical field is preferred
• Familiarity with machine vision systems or image processing technologies is a strong advantage
• Willingness to work on-site and travel to client locations as required
