Position Summary:
The Field Application Engineer (FAE) team's objective is to understand the technical aspects of our customers product development projects by working with their engineers designing in YAGEO group components across all Business Groups in conjunction with our Sales team. During this engagement with customers in every industrial sector, FAEs grasp the technical trends and design discipline direction (Low Voltage DC, AC and Power, EMI, and Sensors) and convey this to our Product Managers in each Business Group for product development roadmap input. FAEs also conduct educational training and collateral generation for our sales, distributors, and customers. FAEs are distributed globally in our sales offices.
The FAE role is to support their Global Account Manager with their OEM account to meet with a diverse group of customers at the forefront of innovation. The ideal candidate should have an outgoing personality, an interest in learning about new technologies, and a desire to collaborate.
If you like helping customers, sales, and product teams find solutions to design challenges; then the FAE role is for you. As an FAE, you will learn YAGEO Group's products and their applications to assist customers product development engineers with the technical aspects of their design. Working with customers, the FAE will help uncover technological trends and translate their needs to our Product Business Unit (PBU) Managers for incorporation into product development roadmaps.
