Scope

We are seeking a Field Instrument Engineer to support a complex industrial project in Taiwan. This role focuses on the installation, commissioning, and technical oversight of field instruments and valves within a high-standards regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Field Instrument Engineer, you will be a key technical specialist ensuring the delivery and integrity of field instrumentation. You will manage technical interfaces, oversee site-side installations, and ensure all instrumentation assets meet strict project specifications and safety standards.

  • Technical Oversight: Lead the field execution for instrumentation and valves, ensuring alignment with engineering design and site realities.
  • Quality & Compliance: Drive QA/QC interfaces and ensure all field instruments are installed according to international codes and project-specific standards.
  • Coordination: Act as a technical bridge between engineering teams and site subcontractors to maintain schedule pressure and minimize rework.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 6 years of proven experience specifically in Field Instruments and Valves within complex industrial or energy sectors.
  • Languages: Full professional fluency in both Mandarin and English is mandatory for stakeholder coordination and technical documentation.
  • Nationality: Priority for Malaysian or Singaporean nationals due to project-specific mobilization and work rights constraints.
