Job Purpose:

To support and execute core finance functions, including financial closing, reconciliations, payment processing, intercompany billings, and reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with group policies and accounting standards.

Job Duties:

  • Maintain full set of accounts in accordance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Execute monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Perform monthly banks & partners reconciliation, ensuring timely investigation and resolution of discrepancies.
  • Process payments and collections in compliance with established procedures and internal controls.
  • Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting analysis, including variance analysis for management review.
  • Coordinate with Finance Shared Service Centre and Group Finance to ensure timely and accurate reporting deliverables.
  • Support internal and external audit processes, including preparation of audit schedules and relevant documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, MFRS, and internal control frameworks.
  • Any other ad hoc task as assigned from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 2 - 4 years of relevant working experience, preferably with an audit background.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and applicable financial reporting standards (MFRS).
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Familiarity with the fintech or financial services industry would be an added advantage.
  • Willing to work in Bandar Sunway.
